It seems that the recent League of Legends (LOL) Philippines update made quite some impressive improvements to the league of Legends Masteries and the game terrains enhancements are just superb. The update however brought up some really annoying bugs one of which is when a player is unable to buy items during the game even if you have enough golds to buy them. I myself experienced the said bug and it is indeed frustrating especially during the middle and end part of the LOL game. During said occurrence of the said bug in LOL, all store items are disabled and you just can't buy any of it (I had over 10,000 golds at that time.)
How to Fix LOL Philippine's "Unable to Buy Items" Bug
Solution #1: Gather enough gold until the whole set for the complete item your are trying to buy is made available. It means you can't buy an item until you have enough golds to buy all the required items for a complete item set.
Solution #2: Another solution is to this bug is to leave then reconnect to the game. A tremendous hassle both to you and your team mates.
For now, these are the two workarounds that worked for me. You may try them at least until LOL PH are able to finally fix the bug.
|New League of Legends (LOL) Masteries set|
Around 5:00 PM of of November 27, 2013, League of Legends (LOL) Philippines released a new update to its Masteries set which contains improvements to masteries selections for LOL players to mix in and utilize for their champions. The new set is still categorized into the usual three masteries groups, namely:
This group contains enhancements to your champion's attack capabilities and can be further categorized into three sub-classifications namely: attack damage and attack speed, ability damage, and damage to minions and monsters. Enhancement to bonus skill items (e.g. Burn, Smite, etc.) has been removed from the first item on the Offense Masteries group.
This mastery group enhances your champion's health and resistance to damage. This group contains base health bonus, healing rate, and armor bonus and magic resistance. The base health mastery bonus adds to your champion's health span. The healing rate increases your champion's rate of recovering lost health. The armor bonus and magic resistance lessens damage received from physical and magic damage, respectively.
Description of each Mastery items will be discussed on the next post.

DOTA 2 runs on Steam Game Client and requires you to have a DOTA 2 key which can only be obtained by invitation. Luckily, Valve created a new way to be invited by taking their hardware and game proficiency survey. I've posted an article here to help you get your DOTA 2 invite and key.
Here’s a quick guide on how you can get your own account and DOTA 2 key for free.
How to get your DOTA 2 key in the Philippines
DOTA 2 runs on steam client so you will have to download and install it before you can play DOTA 2 Philippines. Head over to this link to download the Steam client. Click on the green link on top of the page that says “Install Steam”.
You will then be redirected to the Steam client download page. It will also show you the recommended system requirements for DOTA 2 (i.e. operating system, memory, CPU/processor speed, hard disk space and internet connection speed). Again, click the green button to download the game client.
Save the installer to your local drive then install.
After installing Steam, update your Steam client by clicking on “Check for Steam Client Updates…” This will allow you to fetch the latest DOTA 2 game client updates and latest patches.
Now it’s time to get your free DOTA 2 key. As I have said earlier, you will need to be invited in order to obtain a beta key. The easiest way is to take the DOTA survey so can be invited. To get the invite, head over to the DOTA 2 survey. The DOTA 2 survey screen look something like this:
The trick is to complete the survey as honestly as possible. The DOTA 2 survey questions are designed to know if your answers do not quite add up.
Now the hardest part comes in. You will have to wait for your invite. It will land down to the email address you provided on the survey. Mine took 3 days. Some went as long as a week. The invite usually contain 5 digits. Use it it to activate your DOTA 2 account and register your computer to the game.
