Supreme Destiny: The Story
In a flash of light and sound that reverberates through your bones, you finally arrive at the Great City of Armia. Ears still ringing, you look around, tightly clutching the tattered note. You are greeted by a sea of unfamiliar faces, most with looks that are as lost as yours. The teleportation didn't leave you naked, but it didn't provide anything more than meager provisions to ensure today’s survival . A quick check in your backpack garnered only some old garbs, a frail weapon and a few potions. You realize that getting additional provisions and better equipment are needed to endure in this strange land.
The streets are already filled with people. A soft winds blows through the crowded streets, caressing your skin with its cool breeze. But the wind bites, persuading you to pull your ragged clothes closer to your body. The thought of curling up and sitting in a warm corner beside a hearth seems very appealing at this moment, though you're not sure if it's the cold or... the loneliness.
Then, right at that moment, you suddenly remembered the dream.
What a strange dream it was! You remember standing on a desolate land that seemed to be shrouded with doom. Those... beasts. They kept coming...hordes of them, driving a lone warrior to the end of a mountain plateau. The warrior tirelessly swinging his sword in deadly arcs in a desperate attempt to slay the mishappen and malformed beasts, or at the very least intimidate them into submission. But there were just too many of them, constantly pushing him nearer and nearer to the edge of the cliff.
As swiftly as the winds changed flow, you suddenly realized that the eyes of the hideous creatures seemed to be staring right into yours! Confused, you look around for the warrior, and then cold reason crept in. You are the warrior. For a moment, you are stunned by the abrupt turn of events. But death does not wait and the monstrous horde immediately acts on this fatal opening in your defense. Your instincts save you and you frantically swing your blade in a vain attempt to imitate what the warrior did moments ago. Strangely, the blade felt familiar, your movements fluid and precise, as if you had spent many years training with the weapon. Yet your efforts proved futile and you are unable to hold back the unending tide of sharp claws and teeth. A brutish claw rakes your side, shredding the armor and biting deeply into your flesh. You collapse to the hard ground grimacing in pain. Blood flows and the pain increases. You try to drive it away and will yourself to stand up. But before you can raise your blade, another blow knocks you off the edge of the cliff -- but not before you managed to desperately grab onto the ledge.
You look down and you only see darkness. A sure death if you fall. You try to repress your fears, to find a way to climb back up. But the cries and howls of the approaching beasts were terrible to hear, eating away your resolve. You feel your bloodied fingers slipping and hope with it.
You close your eyes, waiting for the Reaper to claim your life.
Suddenly, a powerful explosion shook the ground, almost causing you to lose your grip. Deafening screams could be heard from the beasts above, and you feel intense cold blue fire brush against your fingers.
Total silence.

The Omen began 18 years ago. A terrifying solar eclipse engulfed the skies above Asia. From this gaping darkness, a vicious torrent of meteors hurtled down, leaving a wake of smoldering rubble and scorched earth.
Chaos and paranoia swept over Asia, forcing the rest of the world to quarantine the continent, an island onto itself.
Two years later, from this apocalyptic wreckage, a clandestine organization known only as the Sacred Financial Group ascended to power, shrouded in myth and mystery, brimming with untold wealth and influence.
The Group would found four schools, each one unique in its own way: Sacred Gate, Mystic Peak, Phoenix, and Leonair Campus.
Only the smartest, strongest, fittest students were recruited to these institutions. Yet beneath its quiet façade of learning and academia, an unsettling truth began to surface. These were no ordinary schools. Their infrastructures, rising menacingly above all others, were strange and alien in design, as if echoing an ominous, inescapable fate.
Suspicion grew. Where these sports institutions meant to breed a new generation of genetically-enhanced athletes? Where they military centers meant to recruit and train bio-engineered soldiers?
Soon, rumors began to spread about the alarming activities conducted within the four campuses. Students, they said, were being trained in cryptic, deadly forms of combat beyond the understanding of even the military’s most accomplished intelligence agencies; they were studying forbidden scrolls and texts believed to hold incomprehensible, supernatural power—power to create as well as destroy; and being taught the use of weapons exiled long ago for their genocidal role in the Ancient Wars.
The question was: Why? Why train these students in such brutal arts?
The answer would arrive with startling implications. A dimensional riff some attribute to the meteor storm had opened the gates to a demonic realm, poisoning the living and possessing the dead.
Only the four schools proved immune to this paranormal plague. Force shields were believed to protect the boundaries of the four schools and its students, keeping them safe within the schools’ borders.
The shields, however, were beginning to show signs of weakness. There were reports of creatures infiltrating school grounds and of students being taken almost daily, never to be seen again.
It was only a matter of time…
Leonair in the East was the first of the four to fall, its entire student populace devoured seemingly overnight, the campus left a graveyard of memory.
Of those who have attempted to brave the haunted campus grounds of Leonair since, few have returned, and those that have, speke tremulously of a presence so dark, so evil, it would in time, come to destroy all mankind.
So many questions remain unanswered. What caused the meteor shower? From what dimension did this supernatural evil originate from? How did the Sacred Financial Group know of the storm’s destructive, malevolent power?
Today, everything is calm and peaceful at the three schools, even as they wonder which of them is next.
When will their time come? How long will their shields hold?
For now, the students continue their studies.
Waiting.
Training.
Praying.

Warcraft 3 by Blizzard Entertainment
Here is what Wikipedia has to say on the game:
One of the main new features Warcraft III offers over the previous games in the series is the addition of several powerful units called Heroes. Heroes can find or trade items to increase skills, defense, and other abilities, and with each kill of an enemy, the heroes gain experience points, eventually resulting in increasing their level and gaining new spell options (thus introducing RPG elements to the series). Certain heroes also can apply beneficial auras to allied units. The highest level that can be gained in a normal game is level ten. At level six, the hero can obtain an "ultimate" skill that is potentially more powerful than the others.
Another new feature is the addition of creeps, which are computer controlled units the player fights even in multiplayer. They guard key areas or neutral buildings and are designed to act as a resource for the players to kill to provide experience points to a player's hero and to provide hero items. The idea is to force the player to be aggressive instead of "turtling up" (spending all resources on defenses, rather than attacking). In The Frozen Throne Expansion Pack, Heroes can reach a maximum of level five from killing creeps; after that they can only get experience from enemy units/towers, while the highest level allowed is ten.
Warcraft III includes four playable races: the Humans and the Orcs, who also appeared in Warcraft and Warcraft II, along with two new races, the Night Elves and the Undead. During early stages of development, it was announced that Warcraft III would include six races, three of them being Human, Orc, and Undead. As an April Fool's joke before the game was released, Blizzard announced that the Pandaren would be the fourth race. The company didn't reveal the Night Elves until a month later, and pandas are now a running gag in Warcraft (to the point that a Pandaren Hero — called the Brewmaster — was available in the expansion pack, Warcraft III: The Frozen Throne). A fifth playable race, the Burning Legion, was changed during play-testing to a set of non-player characters and monsters (with a playable "cameo" on the last level of the Undead campaign, as Kel'Thuzad summons Archimonde), and a sixth playable race was removed during testing before announcement of what race it was to be.
Warcraft III has a large online gaming community centered around Blizzard Entertainment's Battle.net servers (called Gateways): Azeroth (U.S. East), Lordaeron (U.S. West), Northrend (Europe), and Kalimdor (Asia). Players meet other players to chat and set up multiplayer games through Battle.net. In addition to custom games, in which players have complete control over game settings (including map, teams, handicaps, etc.), Battle.net features a ranking system for certain standard game types: 1v1, or solo; various team games (2v2, 3v3, 4v4); and free-for-all (FFA). Ranked game play is facilitated by Blizzard Entertainment's Automatic MatchMaker, which pits players of comparable skill against each other. Players can also form clans comprised of ten or more players, which are also ranked. Unfortunately, the matchmaker does not always put up the teams fairly, sometimes, there may be a level twenty player and a level five player versus two level 5 players.
Warcraft III also includes a very thorough scenario editor. It uses a scripting language similar to the trigger system used in StarCraft. As well as providing the ability to edit any aspect of the units, buildings and spells, it has advanced features as custom tilesets, custom cinematic scenes, dialog boxes, variables, and weather effects. Many custom maps, featuring a large variety of game-types continue to be developed, and together with the expansion pack have contributed to the longevity of the game.
